Angel City Bike Rally
story and photos by Rodney Rossignol
Being a Harley Davidson owner and enthusiast for many years I have attended my share of bike rallies. If you are a fan of great looking motorcycles, meeting new friends, camping or just want to let you hair down, then the Angel City Bike Rally in Unadilla, GA is a must do event. There is a spring and fall rally each year. The rally takes place on a well groomed 100 acres with a western town built for biker, lots of horsepower, but no horses!
Getting lots of rest is recommended before attending. As you walk through the western town, multiple events take place around the clock: bike games, live music, vendors, saloons, friendly beer girls, food, bikes parading through town, and as always - the wet t-shirt contest. The next thing you know, three days have gone by with little or no sleep, well worth it.
The western town is in the middle of the property surrounded by the RV and tent camping. As you stroll through the camping area you're guaranteed to make new friends. It's non-stop action in town or in the exceptionally nice campgrounds. People won't let you pass without saying "hello, want a drink or would you like something to eat?" If the entire world went to Angel City for a bike rally it would be a better place for all mankind!
As usual, the drive home is the worst part, if not, then you had no fun. I must have had a great time because it was a long, long drive home. Can't wait till next spring to see the owner Wayne Smith and his numerous friends who come to rally at Angel City. The establishment also hosts weddings, birthday parties and company parties. Check this place out for your next adventure. www.angelcityrally.com
